Parenting Conference

Jesus loves our kids so much, and He desires that our kids know Him. Come and learn what it looks like to be a “Jesus Parent”, and let your heart be encouraged that God loves you and your kids far more than you can imagine. The Father would love nothing more than to help you, “Lead them to Jesus”.

Registration information

The cost of the event is $30 per person and includes attendance to the full event, Saturday lunch, and snacks and refreshments between sessions.

Trisha and I got married in 1998 and have two kids, Lucia and Silas, both of whom were adopted from Colombia, South America. Together we comprise ‘Team Kirkland’ (complete with matching hats, just like the Griswold’s). We enjoy Clemson football, board games, quality snacks, and getting outside as much as possible. My undergraduate degree is from Clemson (the highlight of this time was meeting my wife), and also hold a MA in Biblical Exegesis from Wheaton College Graduate School (the highlight of this season was growing in my love for the local church).

Trisha Kirkland is a former high school teacher who went back to graduate school to become a licensed professional counselor. After nearly a decade in private practice, where she treated anxiety and depressive disorders in adolescents and adults, she merged her love for teaching and counseling. In 2015, she began working at Ben Lippen School as the upper school counselor. She believes hope and healing are ultimately found through Jesus Christ. She is married to Brian Kirkland. They have 2 children, 16 and 12 years old.

Benji is passionate about the local church and loves being a part of seeing God work in the lives of believers. He has a desire to see families and marriages thrive in their pursuit of Jesus and prays that He can be used by God to help our grandparents, parents, children, and youth encounter Jesus and grow in their love for Him. Benji loves that his wife Abby and 6 kiddos are "all in" on the mission to see people come to know Jesus as their savior and to grow in their love for Him.
